Melendez spent almost
18 years on Florida's death row for a crime he did not commit before
his exoneration and release in January,
2002. Since his release, Mr. Melendez has traveled the nation
and world, advocating for death penalty repeal and sharing
his very personal and inspirational story of hope, faith and
freedom and the injustices of our nation's capital
punishment system. He will be speaking in New Mexico
throughout the month of September.
